Save My Breath – First Aid, CPR, & Resuscitation takes the health and safety of everyone we serve very seriously. In accordance with the measures being taken by health authorities across the country to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have taken the appropriate measure to continue offering courses to those who need it. We offer a variety of formats.
Students can take online courses and/or online components of blended learning courses. In-person sessions have been minimized and contact has been minimized. Safety precautions such as disinfection of manikins, equipment and tools has always been a standard.
To ensure the safe everyone, we require the following of all individuals who are coming for a class. We ask all individuals to:
- wear a medical/surgical grade mask NO cloth mask.
- Bring their own or purchase a CPR-pocket mask for breathing into the manikins (this is not a mask that you wear on your face)
- Pass the COVID screen questions. For individuals who have other underlying symptoms that may be similar to symptoms of COVID, you will not be permitted into the class.
Anyone who is not able to pass screening will not be permitted to the class and will be asked to reschedule.
Anyone who refusing to wear a face mask will not be permitted to the class and will be asked to without a refund or transfer to another class

Online Only and Blended Learning First Aid & CPR Courses
We offers a number of online course options, which can be used to encourage training during this time. Participants looking to take a blended first aid course or first aid re-certification course in the future can take the time now to complete the online component.
To support this option, we are offering the online component of our Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and CPR courses as separate stand-alone courses. These are normally offered as part of our blended delivery programs.
The online component will issue a confirmation of completion certificate which is valid for 6 weeks. Completion of this online training will also appear in the user’s profile and can be verified by their employer.
Participants will have 90 days to complete the required complete in-person training component after taking the online component. Courses must be taken by Until July 31, 2021. After completion of the course they will be issued three-year certification.
Individuals can choose to do the online portion for their own learning without doing a in person course, but will NOT receive a certificate in the in-person portion is not done. This will continue to support your learning needs.
Some courses such as the Red Cross Baby-Sitting and Stay Safe Courses are being offered virtually. These courses will still have the same great content, but from the comfort of your home. Parent can register their kids online.
