The following refund, transfer and cancellation policy for our courses apply:
Youth Courses: $15
First Aid Courses: $30
Psychological First Aid Courses: $30
NRP Courses: $30
Online Courses: No refunds
Private and Group Courses: Deposit as per your terms and condition.
Cancellation and Refund Request:
A cancellation and refund request can be made by filling out the request form. All refund will be made to the original method of payment. Refunds are non-transferable and can not be transferred to other individuals.
A full refund, minus the following administration fees, will apply if a cancellation request is made 48 hours prior to the start of the course:
All refunds can take up to 3 to 5 business days to receive.
For cancellation request made less than 48 hours to the start of a course, there are no refunds.
If you are unable to attend a course, you can make a transfer request by filling out the request form. The first transfer is free. Any additional transfers are subjected to a $25 administration fee. There is a maximum of 2 request which includes the first free request. Additional request can not be made after the maximum number of request have been made and the individuals must register for a new course. All transfer request must be used within 6 months of the initial course date the individual had signed up for.
Transfer to another course is subjected to availability of the course being requested. If the course the individual(s) is requesting a transfer for, has an online or time sensitive component that has expired, the individual will be required to register and pay for that component again in order to be able to attend the classroom component and receive their certification. Save My Breath makes no guarantees that a date requested can be accommodated.
Once a transfer request is made individuals can not request a refund or credit for that transfer course. No refunds will be given if the individual chooses to down grade to a different course. Additional fees may be required should the individual choose a course that has an additional cost.
In the case of illnesses we still require notice, otherwise it will be considered a no show and no refund will apply. For request made less than 48 hours, it will be considered a transfer and no refund will apply. Please note that individuals who are ill will not be permitted to our courses and no refunds will be given should they show up to the course.
Course Code of Conduct
No refunds will be issued in the case of individuals being rude, abusive, distributive, and /or disruptive to instructors and/or other individuals at the course. Save My Breath reserves the right to deny entry or eject anyone from our courses. Please see our Course Code of Conduct for more information .
There are no refunds and/or transfers for individuals who show up to the course unprepared or with all requirements incomplete. For courses that require prior preparation i.e., online component, all component must be completed prior to arrival otherwise entry to the course will be denied.
Individuals who are 20 minutes late will not be permitted to the course and will have to register for a new course. There will be no refund and/or transfer offered.
If Save My breath has not received any notice prior to the course there are no refunds or transfers for no shows.
Cancellations by Save My Breath
Save My Breath occasionally has to cancel courses due to safety issues, instructor illness and/or low enrollment. We will try to give all participants as much notices as possible.
If a course is canceled by Save My breath, all individuals registered for the affected course will be offered an opportunity to transfer to another course. If the individual is unable to transfer to another course a full refund will be made.
Save My Breath reserves the right to change, cancel or relocate the course.
